Oklahoma City classic staple restaurant. Delicious burgers with great toppings. My favorite onion rings. Fantastic for lunch. Around $8 for a sandwich, add $3 four an order of fries. Fries come in large orders and can (should?) definitely be shared between 2 or 3 people. Soups are good too, and chili is solid. Can get very busy at lunch time, so hit it early - right as they open at 1100.

Today was our very first experience with Johnnie's. While the food was fantastic, the wait time to get said food was awful. We waited 30 minutes for two burgers and onion rings. Not sure why it took so long, but I think the staff could have handled it better. While placing our order, an unruly drive-through customer came in and let the whole store know his displeasure with bursts of colorful language. It would have benefited everyone had the employees notified customers of the wait time. That way the customers could have decided if the wait time was worth it. Managers of the store on I-240, if you're reading this, take note. By warning customers of the wait, it really could have saved the extremely uncomfortable situation that one customer caused the whole store. Had the wait time been a 1/4 of that time, I would have given five stars.
